The standard
Reference pieces by other creators, chosen to set the bar for product films. Our own named client work lives on how we work.
[ How this gets made ]
A product film sells materials, not features.
Turnaround 24–32h
- 01Shots are ordered so each answers the question the last one raised: scale, then material, then mechanism, then use.
- 02Macro and tabletop passes are conformed to one grade, so the product is exactly the same colour in every shot.
- 03Speed ramps hold the eye on the moment of change — a lid closing, a hinge turning, a fabric settling.
- 04Sound is designed rather than borrowed. A click, a zip and a pour do more for perceived quality than the music does.
Product footage is usually beautiful and unstructured: twenty pretty shots with no argument between them. A buyer is trying to answer a small number of physical questions, and a film that answers them in order feels expensive for reasons the viewer cannot name. Matching colour across a macro lens and a wide is the unglamorous half, and it is the half a client notices first.
